ATEC Hitting Streak Pitching Machine (aka, Atec Power Streak Pitching Machine)

The ATEC Hitting Streak Pitching Machine is a wonderful piece of equipment for players in little league all the way to college players.  It allows players to practice their batting abilities and is very easy to use.  Younger players can practice with balls set at a lower speed and older, more seasoned players can practice at speeds up to 55 miles per hour. 

The Atec Power Streak Pitching machine has ¼ horsepower engine that gives an 8 second recovery time between balls.  It is run by electricity but can be hooked into a generator easily.   There is a 12V rechargeable battery that can be used but is purchased separately.

 

The ATEC Hitting Streak Pitching  Machine only weighs 26 pounds so it is easy to transport.  Take it to the field for teams to practice.  You can also use it in most back yards by just lowering the speed of the ball.  Field players can also get some practice from this machine.  It will pop out grounders, high balls and others so they can practice their catching abilities. 

This pitching machine will pitch ATEC Tuffy Soft balls or super soft balls.  It made of durable steel and will last for many years.  You can use it outside and indoors as well because of the variable speed.  It can throw many different breaking pitches and that includes sliders and curves.  It is easy to carry around because it breaks down and can be put into a gear bag.  It only takes one person to set up or take down.  There is a 1 year limited manufacturer’s warranty on the machine. 

The machine is very consistent and will provide fielders the consistency needed to practice catching all types of balls.  It is also great for batters because of the consistency.  They will have no bad balls to try to hit.  All of them will be stable whether you have the machine throw fast balls, slow balls or curves and other types of pitches. 

Adjustments in speed and type of ball thrown are very easy.  Even other players can set it up and control it for their fellow team mates.  This is a great machine for schools and local teams.  It will grow with your players and provide many years of service. 

The Atec Power Streak Pitching Machine usually comes with three balls but it is necessary to purchase more for an adequate practice.  It runs anywhere between USD $350 to $400.  The battery is sold separately but defiantly worth purchasing if you are practicing at a field that does not have electricity or a generator you can use.  ATEC also produces an automatic feeder that is sold separately.  This comes in handy if you do not have a couch or other team member to feed the balls one by one.  It is great for one person practice in the backyard. 

The ATEC Hitting Streak machine is adaptable and consistent.   It will give both young and older players a workout on both fielding and batting.  It is portable and easy to transport.  What else do you need from a softball pitching machine?  The price is right and you can purchase a feeder and battery if you desire a truly automated practice.
