Has anybody tried using a baseball pitching machine for cricket practice? What were the results?

I am wondering if substituting a cricket ball (or the practice ones that come for cricket bowling machines) would produce similar results as that of a baseball ball. I dont know anyone with a pitching machine so I have not been able to test this out myself.

Im a freshman
in about 6'3" and 190
i throw about 78 mph
i dominate hitters with my fastball
towards the end of my games i get no balls and 2 strikes and throw a fastball and they hit it.
I tried throwing curves but they never work
What is a easy but effective breaking pitch and how do you throw it
